You guessed it – baby on the way................

I’m the original owner of this black 1992 GTR since it arrived at Turismo Motorsports in Adelaide back in the day. I bought this in 2001 and have owned it for the past 13 years and have rebuild most of the running gear in that time. It is in very good condition for a model this age.

The motor has since been rebuilt with forged CP pistons, ARP rod and stud bolts, R33 crank (new), oil restrictors in the head, Mines rocker cover baffles, tomei sump baffle kit, N1 oil and water pumps, sard 700cc injectors, trust heavy duty timing belt, power fc & boost controller, Z32 afms, nismo fuel pump, tomei dump and front pipes, trust 517z turbos, Blitz 100mm intercooler, bigger radiator (can’t remember exact size) and oil cooler kit in the front bumper and Duncan’s attessa torque controller. As well as fitted with Tomei Poncams, Tomei adjustable cam wheels also fitted at the time of rebuild.

I have driven less than 10 000km since the rebuild.

Also has lightened flywheel and heavy duty clutch, hi flow exhaust (can’t remember exact model) – very legal/quiet but unrestricted.

All work done by Boostworz and all of the above would be able to be verified by Shaun.

R33 Brembo brakes all round, Bilstein shockers, King springs and braided lines fitted by Manta Racing

Panasonic MP3 player head unit installed with a double sub woofer in the boot – came from Japan like that!

Wheels are RAYS GRAM LIGHTS 17x9 +22, with new Federal tyres, 255,40x17 all round

Car has been dynoed at just under 330kW on 98 octane, clean, well maintained there is literally nothing to spend, just drive and enjoy, never raced, dragged or even driven in anger.

Currently only listed here, hopefully someone on SAU will pick this up.

Any questions and dyno can be sent to anyone interested - please ask here or PM me for my phone number, car can be viewed by appointment at Crafers,

Thanks

Jason

Jase it was a pleasure to meet you today and buy your car from you. 750ks covered on the way home and it was brilliant. Car performed perfectly whether at 40khr or stretching its legs.

Passed 13 traffic police cars in the first 400 k's. Fun busters ;-) I may have gone out to look at it a few times since getting her home already. Beautiful car in great condition. Just what I was looking for. I'll take very good care of her mate. Thankyou.

    • Couldn't help but share the pics of my $350 "Hella" oil level sensor that arrived from totalengines via eBay today. It's like they're not even trying anymore ... And I think that's sad.
    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).
    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
