vesh
I am currently setting up the dry sump in my R33 GTR and wondering where I should run my oil lines. I would prefer running them under the car but have seen people run them through the cabin. Only problem I am thinking about running them under the car is if they were to get damaged if i was to run off the track. Where have you guys run your lines? zebra
If you are doing any track work, you won't be able to run them through the cabin Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442944-dry-sump-oil-lines/#findComment-7278769 Share on other sites
vesh
It's a track only car. So does that mean that everyone is running them along the chassis rails? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442944-dry-sump-oil-lines/#findComment-7278781 Share on other sites
DCIEVE
If you are doing any track work, you won't be able to run them through the cabin It's hard to find a dry sumped car without lines in the cabin. toppertee
Have cams changed the rules oil oil/fuel lines through the cab? If not running cams events though can see it being a problem CAMs rules state you can run them through the cab as long as they don't have joints. Also I run a accusump in the cab, At CAMs events all I've done is make up a cover to go over it. Never had a problem. vesh
Ok cool, so should I install the lines under the car or through the cabin? I have already run the lines under the car, but haven't connected any fittings at this stage . . . DCIEVE
Might as well leave them there and save yourself 3-400 in bulkheads and adapters. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442944-dry-sump-oil-lines/#findComment-7279992 Share on other sites
