I recall reading an advert for a piggy back module, that acts as a 2-stage rev limiter. So basically under no load you can set the limiter to for example 4,000rpm.

Does anyone know the name, any info...are they fuel only, fuel and ignition?

If fuel only as i suspect, is there any concern over sitting on the line for 3-4 seconds on a fuel cut limiter at 4,000rpm? A quick think about it tells me the engine would run lean and combustion chamber/exhasut temps would climb pretty high, not really a bad thing when you are sitting on the line at the drags trying to get the turbo on song ASAP, but used repeatedly...can this cause damage to an engine.
