The WHOLE for sale section was locked coz of the new area but it was un locked, wasn't just this thread. Yeah as I said I spoke to dAVE about a week ago and he said he was waiting for pay so he could get money orders to send back to us.

Did he offer any explanation as to what happend to our money/parts in the first place? If he's waiting to get paid to pay us back he has obviously spent our money on something.

That's all I want. 1. money 2. explanation. I'm not fussed with the whole retribution or banning him or beating him up. Money and explanation will be enough for me. but if those two things aren't forthcoming then I may have to consider those other options...

I hope no one has lost more than a few hundred, I can see this getting messy real quick if thats the case

Hope everything gets cleared up

Chris

He did say somethign but I don't really take what he says with all that much merit. I mean how long have we been waiting!

Said something about the supplier didn't deliver and ripped him off or something along those lines. He was waiting for his pay so he could draw the money orders.

EVERY time I speak to him I say go an post and let ppl know. I've said it at least 5 times now. I told him most ppl would understand if he got on here but yeah....

Yep was all my stuff. Got the Nismo catalouge, Keyring and a Postal cheque for $40 for the lighter he couldn't get! Hopefully this means all your parts are near too! Looks like all the hard work was worth it in the end, just a shame it took so long!

bit suss that you're the only one who got thier stuff/refund and you're the only one who has been in contact with him... (ie he figures he'll only refund whoever hassles him)

Did you give him our details of what he owes us?

Well yeah, if you remember I sent that e-mail with everyones stuff in it. I don't know if he has all your mailing address's or not. If not then you'll have to try and contact him via phone. It can be done as I found out I just had to try ALL the time.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
