Who here is into Go Karting?

I've just gotten myself a Arrow X2 with a Rotax 125. Will be doing quite a few practice sessions before I participate in TAG R.

Any advice for a newby?

I want to get into go karting. How much does the average go kart cost?

I've got 2 karts at the moment, ones a rotax and the other is a clubman, they are very different to drive and tune from one another. one of them will be up for sale soon

The only tracks I've been to are picton and butterfly farm, both are great track, for first timers I'd really recommend picton as butterfly is very technical and can get very busy and chaotic at times

Word on the street is clubman is on the way out.

I'll be going to newcastle while waiting for the track on the central coast to be build

For aka racing I believe your right, but for practice days and the mini meets you can attend, I'm sure they will still be allowed cause that's their bread and butter
