Hi all,

I have a few bitz from a Rb25det race engine that i never completed & it has since

been laying around my shed for a while.

I need to move them on.

List is as follows,

1- Rb25det Stage 2 Race head.

I have had this built by a professional shop and it is still brand new wrapped up in plastic.

Head is off a series 2 R33 Gts-t & suits any Rb25det bottom end.

Chemical clean

Preasure & crack tested

K-line guides,multi angle valve job

Replaced super tech seals

High lift spring & retainer kit with 9.5mm lift caability

260cfm Race port for maximium flow.

Included in the price is a pair of Tomei Poncams.

Inlet is 256mm with 8.5mm lift

Exhaust is 264mm with 8.5mm lift

Also included in the packege is an adjustable Hks cam gear.

With this Poncam set up you can still retain the factory VCT which is worth using as it will help with boost coming on around 500rpm earlier. The Poncams will give you greater low to mid range torque.

This head is brand new,the Tomei cams and Hks cam gear have done around 1,200klms in a previous set up,& are in as new condition.

Complete head set up with Cams & adj cam gear $2600

2-Rb25det Stroker bottom end 2.7l.

*Components have been in workshop sitting around & has some surface rust on Block,

small amount on crank and some surface rust on the rods (as pictured)

The block is Rb25det that has been mechined to 87mm

The block was originally mechined at Jack bros Racing in Slacks creek along with the Rb26 Gtr crank & girdle.

Pistons are JE from memory..87mm. New Total rings were fitted.

Rods are Crower.

After a small engine falure on the dyno (bearings) the bottom end was then stripped

down and re machined by JHH Racing where it has since been sitting around in my shed in its current unassembled state.

Odviously you will need to freshen up the bits again.

Whole bottom end,Block, pistons, rods,Gtr crank & matching Gurdle $650

3-Rb25det cranks & girdle. These were extracted from 2 good engines but didnt end up

getting used. They will need a freshen up as have some surface rust on them

$150 each

4- This set up came out of a running Rb25det

R33 Gtr injectors in Rb25det fuel rail with harness

R33 Gtr injector resistor pack

Z32 airflow meter

Dont want to seperate at this stage

Complete upgrade kit $350

5-Ross Tuffbond metal jacket harmonic balancer Rb25det.Part number 306201.

Rated to 1500hp

Has done around 1,200klms and is still like new.I paid $750 for it.

Sell $300

6-Nismo Rb25det Engine mounts (left & right). Again done around 1,200klms & comes

with the factory alloy bracks,Mounts are like new $230 pair

7-R33 Gts-t dash cluster. Showing 82,000klms $120

8-Rb25det starter motor $60

9-Rb25 valley cover $30

Rb25 rocker cover (oil cap side) powder coated blk $30

Rb25 timing cover $10

Im located on Brisbane southside.

Pick up welcome

For interstate buyers i can post or help with organising a courier for you at your

cost.

Please give me a call to make a time to view or if you have any questions.

    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You don't need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator but depending on your plans you may need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
    • LOL, all of the CAI like Craig I just need to put a hole saw through my bumper Done and dusted, the car runs, which is nice, I'll take it for a spin when the weather clears up Just need to put the bumper back on for good
    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
