LS1 or VG30? I think they made the right decision

In fact, the LS1 and the accompanying 4L60E Automatic transmission are just over 150 lbs lighter than the stock VG30DE V6 engine and transmission that can be found in the stock 300ZX!!

Agreed. I'd rather ans LS1 300ZX, than a VG30. Guy I know has a twin turbo LS1 going into an old Monaro. 780hp @ flywheel. Now that would be nice in a 300ZX!! But then again, whats wrong with Nissan 4.5l V8.
