First, I want to give a huge thanks to this forum already. Without you all, my Laurel would still have a locked trunk and I'd be paying a locksmith to get in. I live in the US and we recently started getting R32s, A31s and C33s because of a law that makes them classic cars over here after 25 years. Unfortunately, shops don't have specifications for anything on the cars. Was curious if anyone knew and could give me the stock alignment specs for a C33. I'm trying to fix some alignment issues, but the shop said they couldn't do much without knowing what the alignment should be from factor.

I'm on coilovers as well, so if you have better specifications to make the car stable, I'm all ears. I spend a lot of time around 110 - 130kph if that makes a difference.

Here's the new alignment specs for the C33. The shop based them off an S13. They happened to do a heavily modified, very low one the day before so it ended up being pretty easy for them.

Thanks to anyone who at least gave some thought to it. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

just dont run 24" rims as in the above alignment picture :nyaanyaa:

general car alignment should be the same as s13 + what ever feels better

front
camber- pending how much grip you need while turning, how long you want your front tyres to last from camber wear 2.5 deg should be nice and grippy
even for both side 7-8 deg castor pending how you want steering wheel to flick back, think stock is 6 deg maybe..
front toe 0.5mm toe each side so total toe 1mm

rear
least amount of camber unless fitment game rules over grip
toe is usually driver preference, least amount for straight line grip, adding more and playing around can help with stability while drifting

    • Am I correct in assuming that the R35's are getting the classic skyline haircut off the odometer?  Quick search on carsales, there are 33 08 and 09 GTR's for sale, only 2 of them have more then 100,000km's on them (116,075 and 110,000 respectively).  And somehow there are about 25 for sale with around 60,000kms? Looks like the classic skyline haircut to me =/
    • @Stringycheese  Have you only gone to the one blue slip workshop?  There will be a heap of them where ever you live, good odds that the next place you go to will pass the car.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?) every blue slip / engineering workshop will be different and will be happy passing or failing different things - despite working from the same set of rules. It's kinda like 2 lawyers arguing over a piece of legislation, each saying their interpretation is correct. Might seem strange that this happens when it comes to getting a modified car passed, but this is very much a thing. A big part of the game is finding an engineer / workshop that is on the same page as you.
    • Bah. I daily mine. ~60km per work day, 10-12 thousand km per year. What's the point of having a dirty old Datto and leaving it in the shed. It needs to be driven and enjoyed while the govco allows us to do so. It will only be a few years before we're forbidden to even start up internal combustion engines.
    • Judging by that spring perch and the normal looking spring on it - not a coilover. Well.... it is a coilover, just a stock format coilover, rather than what everyone calls a coilover.
    • Yes it is. We get stock from Nismo directly. I'm happy to take photos/video of it as proof before I ship it with timestamps or whathaveyou.
