Isn't the other Skyline in your group a GTST? if so, it shouldn't be in SV, its not 4wd... or was there another GTR there on the day?

Yeah the grey R32 was GTSt that guy was telling me all sorts "it can go off the clock, I've had it to 360km's per hour". I was a bit like

He didn't do too badly considering he was a 2wd in a 4wd class, there is approx 3-4 seconds between my GTR and GTST at the SDMA hillclimb at Fairbairn. According to the results, your GTR did 33.51 and the GTST did 34.42

SDMA would have put the GTST into Type 2 and if there were mods Type 3. I'll have to read the supp regs and try to work out why SV for the GTST.

its our local paper for bathurst WESTERN ADVOCATE ive still got a copy that i can give u. it was in the thursday 31st of july paper

Yep he did really well, was good off the line too They didn't put my third/last run down on results which was a 32.96, I got given the post it note when I finished my run

Sat up almost all night last night with my truck packed ready to go... but the rain just wouldn't break

So went to the skid pan/back track on Sutton road instead for some training with Dereck at 5th Gear.

Oh it was great weather for skidpaning I was at EC and had a ball got some great in car footage aswell!

Yes true, but I would have liked to have a better look at the track before the Australian Hillclimb Championships which is the next event there.

GTSTs are in SV D as they are a low volume import. not sold in australia in full volume. it's ironic that 32 GTRs can run in type 2 etc as they were sold here by nissan, but a GTST or silvia is automatically in SV.

Hmmm I guess different clubs have different regulations - have a look at SDMA (my local club) where they only put the GTRs in SV because of 4wd and they put the GTST in Type 2, which is only fair, my little GTST couldn't compete with the GTRS and if she were heavily modded, she would need to go in type 3.
