lol u serious? i was looking a that a week or so ago trying to convince my gf to learn to drive manual :) nice work mate and at that price its a bloody bargain, specially with the mods!!!

finally got mine registered on saturday... car feels very light... :) (i'm used to the weight of 33 gtr... hehe) only annoying thing atm is that the driver side sun visor has no clip and it keeps on banging my head... :)

plus, stock exhaust looks like a set of chopstick... hehe

couldn't be happier with the car...

I got the cefiro on the weekend finally! first thing I did after my 2 hour rego (bloody rta poindexters) I forked out for some audio gear and spent the weekend ripping apart teh interior and putting it all in.

very happy with the cef, it drives beautifully and cleaned up very well.... after 5 hours of labour.... man there was a lot of crap in the door jambs...

result: I found a couple of yen coins, a flare that quickly got burnt and lots and lots of old audio cables... attached to nothing but left in the dash and under seats.

the cef feels very light (great power steering) and has a very comfortable interior... I am surprised in all I have read online about cefs that no one really mentioned how cruisey these cars are inside, I have a blackish interior but it seems to be tinted with red from sun rays over time... odd. I didn't realise from the dealers pics that the white paint has a pearl effect through it? does everyone else with white cefs have that? I couldn't tell if it was post purchase paint...

i was gonna but a bid on that car hehehe. you beat me to it god damn it. hahaha that car is mint though congrats on your buy.

how much did it cost to comply? if you dont mind me asking

u talking to me? anyways, if you are, it cost me $2376 to comply + blueslip... there were some extra stuff needed for the car.. the car was missing a cat, the front suspension was cut in half, aircon wasn't degassed, hks filter needed a new element.. etc.. i would say if it wasn't for these little things, the cost would've been alot cheaper..

mine has pearl over white but mine was a respray job... don't know if that colour was available on factory white...

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
