R33 Randomly Stopping

Any ideas please, since November 2015 my R33 started turning off when I geared down at intersections to then just switching off while idling in garage cleaned checked and cleaned out air flow meter, replaced with new the fuel pump and fuel relay, replaced Idle air control valve, replaced with new ignition module, checked fuel lines and while it has not stopped while idling in garage when driving its like something sucks the power off and on at random moments and will turn off if your at an intersection if driving and got your foot on it, its more like a surging?? getting really over it and got no engine light or fault codes coming up?? has anyone experienced something similar?

Do you have the standard blow-off valve in there or an aftermarket one that vents to atmosphere?

I don't think it has one on it and is plumbed off

And forgot to mention it always starts straight back up again and away we go

its your afm, the solder needs to be re-soldered inside the black box from the plug to the board. easy to do.

mine did the exact same thing.

Ok ill check that out tomorrow see how that goes could be worth a try its been alot worse today and switched off on an intersection and took ten minutes to get it to start again

Ok so this morning iv pulled it all apart and re-soldered all the parts and put all back together and driven to work so far no issues BUT its only early lol got my fingers crossed tho

Thank you it was the AFM problem solved and iv got a few new parts now lol cheers
