Right...did you want to know specifically which wheels from the Nissan range will fit?

There is a HyperRev issue in fact 2 for the Stagea which also looks at what kind of wheels you can fit to the Stagea. Unfortunately there isn't much in terms of tuning, as they are pretty much the same as Skylines...engine wise. If I happen to go pass a newagent I can take a squizz for you, anything specific you wanted to know about the wheels specs?

I'll take any info you can dig up, thanks :P

Thanks Duncan, I wonder if they will let me drive it around with a few sets of loan wheels and tyres for a couple of days each? Just to make sure they don't rub anywhere and that the handlig feels OK, they don't make lots of noise, some tyres simply don't work on some cars etc. :)

The clearance testing may be tricky though, because I won't have set the heights up and maybe not upgraded the brakes. Golly, gosh I would hate to buy a set of wheels that fitted today and then find when I lowered it and put the bigger brakes on those nice new wheels didn't fit. :thumbdwn:

I'll bet that would never happen.......... :jk:

one of the guys on SWAT reccomends...

フロントが235/45/17 8J オフセット+45

リアが235/45/17 9J オフセット+44です。

or should I say,

Front: 235/45/17 by 8". Offset +45

Rear: 235/45/17 by 9". Offset +44

Also... one of the other guys on their bbs runs...

Summer

Front: WORK VS-SS 18 by 7.5 +15 225/40

Rear: BBS LM 18 by 8" +38 FALKEN ZIEGS 235/40

Winter:

SSR integral 17 by 9" +38 MZ03 235/45

When using the 17's he uses 20mm spacers at the front and 26mm spacers at the back

Extreme Winter:

MT-14 15 by 6.5" +38

26mm spacers all around

Do the RS260's run different offset than the RS FOUR versions?

Seems like there are a few fairly different offset specs flying around this thread!

I pick up my 260 tomorrow..it has genuine autech wheels will find out then

saw the car today at the docks......just waved at it ...fark :pissed:

Had a look at what Rays reccomend with their wheels and got this:

STAGEA WC34 1670 +33 205/55R16 1670 +33 205/55R16

STAGEA WC34 1785 +30 225/45R17 1785 +30 225/45R17

STAGEA WC34 1885 +30 225/40R18 1885 +30 225/40R18

STAGEA C34 1780 +38 225/45R17 1780 +38 225/45R17

Am I reading this right, the widest tyre is a 225? :headspin:

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
