Hi guys,

Does anyone know how or where I can get my hands on wiring diagrams for a Neo RB25DE out of a R34 and one for an RB25DET out of the same model.

I have tried my local Nissan dealer and they have been unable to source them for me.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,

Brett

Is this to fin out which extra wires are needed for the engine? I really think if you just plug the DET ECU into the harness you won't have mcuh trouble...may just give an error code for a few missing sensors...but nothing that should impact the performance....you may even find that you don't have a boost cut.

By the way are you upgrading the fuel pump, my one didn't have the balls to keep up with the DET injectors.

Yeah, it is to try an figure out which wires are missing. My thinking (read: personal experience) is that if I use the harness out of the cut that I have and use it to replace the harness that is in the R34 at the moment, all should be well. Just want to make sure.

I have found a site though. www.pitstop.net.au. Has just about all the workshop manuals you can get. Although the R34 ones have to be ordered in.

666Dan: Everything that is in the front cut that is 100% working will be swapped over into the 34.

Thanks to SKY031 for the wiring diagram. Very helpful. However, I still have to send the wiring harnesses down to Sydney (Quick Fit Motorsport) to get the wiring harness out of the Stagea front cut adapted to my car.

Moral of the story. Don't live in Coffs Harbour if you want to any modifications to your car!! If you do, prepare to travel.

Anyway, that out of my system, hopefully my car will be off the road next week getting the RB25DET into it. Cant wait.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
