Hello from Russia my dear friends =)

Initially there was a cedric 34 body of the 2nd generation with a motor of vq25dd, I swap a vq30det with a сedric 1 version ... And as we know in the 2nd version the control of the digital bus, and in the first analog, I went the complicated way but nevertheless started the engine. After a long work there was only one mistake, check the engine - "there is no communication with the speed sensor". The podium panel remained with the 2 versions of the cars (digital bus), and all the wiring and ECU with 1 version (analog bus). Because of this error, the automatic machine works in emergency mode. There is no information on EСU pinouts and engine, nothing at all ... Help solve the problem.

sorry for my english =)

nice car!

In Australia, the VQ30DD model is not allowed to be imported from Japan, so most of the english info on them is from New Zealand. There is not much information available. Isn't the Gloria a common import to Russia? I have come across Russian Y34 information on a few forums. http://www.club-nissan.ru/forums/

I thought Y34 ECU pinout was the same as NM35 (VQ30DET vs VQ25DET), but someone who has re-wired a VQ30DET ECU for a S14 build says its not. http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=492211

Russia is a unique country =)) The concept of supply of a specific model of the car does not exist, we carry everything that has 4 wheels, bypassing all possible laws and customs control. In our market officially Japanese cars with right-hand drive were not delivered and we are taking them through customs.

Russian forums talked about information on the site vq30det.com but this site was closed ...As far as I know the ECU pins on 33 and 34 differ, tomorrow I will check the scheme that you gave, Thank you.

    • Am I correct in assuming that the R35's are getting the classic skyline haircut off the odometer?  Quick search on carsales, there are 33 08 and 09 GTR's for sale, only 2 of them have more then 100,000km's on them (116,075 and 110,000 respectively).  And somehow there are about 25 for sale with around 60,000kms? Looks like the classic skyline haircut to me =/
    • @Stringycheese  Have you only gone to the one blue slip workshop?  There will be a heap of them where ever you live, good odds that the next place you go to will pass the car.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?) every blue slip / engineering workshop will be different and will be happy passing or failing different things - despite working from the same set of rules. It's kinda like 2 lawyers arguing over a piece of legislation, each saying their interpretation is correct. Might seem strange that this happens when it comes to getting a modified car passed, but this is very much a thing. A big part of the game is finding an engineer / workshop that is on the same page as you.
    • Bah. I daily mine. ~60km per work day, 10-12 thousand km per year. What's the point of having a dirty old Datto and leaving it in the shed. It needs to be driven and enjoyed while the govco allows us to do so. It will only be a few years before we're forbidden to even start up internal combustion engines.
    • Judging by that spring perch and the normal looking spring on it - not a coilover. Well.... it is a coilover, just a stock format coilover, rather than what everyone calls a coilover.
    • Yes it is. We get stock from Nismo directly. I'm happy to take photos/video of it as proof before I ship it with timestamps or whathaveyou.
