Diagnostic port analysers that work V35?

Hi all, just about to take delivery of a V35 coupe and want to know if any of the OBD2 analyzers on ebay are worth getting?

Almost all of them don't work, or work in a very limited way. Our systems are Canbus, not true OBDII, and even many mechanics have trouble getting readers to read our cars

 

There is a certain chipset that you need to have to even have a chance for an OBD reader to speak with our cars, but I am not sure what it is. Maybe others on here have gotten one to work?

try nissandatascan.com  The software works with our cars and they have a list of suitable adaptors on the page.

Otherwise, buy a consult 2 clone from china.  but you will need a windows xp laptop to run it.

Maybe 32 bit Windows 7 will work too.

Hi mate, 

Get an elm327 Bluetooth OBD2 dongle (10-20 on eBay, watch out for fakes).

Download NDS2 (II) for android. There is a free version (ads) and paid( no ads). This is a direct port from consult 2+. If you have ever seen consult 2, you will see its a massive improvement!!!

I got my v35 last week and works a treat, pulls all data and dtcs as per the nissan esm (fairly sure, I've only had knock sensor codes so far).

Hard to tell. They are a hit and miss. I bought 3 one worked
