Will the qualifying start on 3.30? Won't be able to leave work (Mitchelton/Enoggera) until 3.30 that saturday so would be lucky to get there by 4.30...would that be too late?
well 3:30 is the time 4 ppl to get there so they can brief us on the days events & also sign up for people who have not been befor so I would say we would hit the track about 4 or there abouts try & get off early man need more ppl :(

the guys/girls at D park pick the teams though I think from memory :D

oh by the way strutto I was only two sec's off the lap record at Kingstone park race way I was running0.58.089 sec up to almost a min consistantly over every set that I raced :D

    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
    • Continental have consistently beaten the absolute shit out of every other performance tyre in Wet/Damp/Cold conditions and give up a little bit of time (half a second at most) in the dry. Almost like it's engineered for German conditions or something. I'd def give those a try.
    • I refer you to this thread on PF, by someone who knows what he's doing. Paints a good picture of the humble AD09.
    • Ha, I've never pressed the X in all these years incase it removed the notification for all Admins
    • I don't know, I've never done it that way, but 1. While it is an interference engine, there is still clearance between the valves and the piston at all points in the regular timing cycle 2. There is not a lot of distance before you can't catch the top of the valve stem any more I don't know if 2 is greater or less than 1. But 3. If it doesn't work out you are f**ked, engine is coming out to disassemble so it is a big bet.
