nah coz i wanna change it back afta like a year or something so i don't wanna have to sell the car and buy another..sticky tape where. and will the car be putting to much fuel in the engine if the turbo isn't working...can i control this..thanks for the help

so stopping the turbo is really easy...that just means i wont get any boost yeah... now wat aobut the fuel? will the car be putting heaps of fuel in. and will this be all i have to do to stop getting any boost

Disconnect the wastegate actuator from the wastegate on the turbo.

All you need is around 2mins and a really small flat head screw driver.

Flick off the surclip and pull the actuator rod off the wastegate. If you are leaving it like that then wire the wastegate fully open so it doesn't flap around.

Best part is once you get around the corner you can put it back on again in the same amount of time. :(

But yer.. I'd prefer sticking a stick in the turbo to stop it working. :(

The AFM measures the amount of air entering the engine and puts the required amount of fuel in so it will drive like an NA and get similiar fuel consumption.

thanks guys...my dad mite get a bit sus but i'll see wat he says bout it lol. i guess it's for my own good. i mean who thinks that a P plater on their first year with a turbo is a bit much...plus i will only have 3rd party so i can't afford to crash lol. mite jsut do that for the first year or so then use the turbo

Not having a turbo isn't going to stop you hitting some thing.

When I was younger I found it wasn't the acceleration that got me in trouble it was the inability to judge corners and how quick to go through then.

Wet roads and reading the road surface texture is also where I used to come unstuck.

You learn the hard way though :(

There seems to be a trend amongst my friends and now that I am seeing amongst my sisters friends that the blokes with the quicker cars tend not to write them off and drive more sensible only giving it stick out of corners.

The blokes with the smaller buzz boxes go flat stick in to the corners and hit gutters, tree's and write off their cars.

Every one dings their first car. :(

seriously mate, dont get a skyline if ur just getting ur P's and only 3rd party. I guarentee you will crash it sooner or later and i dont want to see another written off skyline. I admit i did stupid things the first year i had my licence but i only owned a shitbox 3k car.

If u really want a import get a non turbo silvia, u can get them for about 5k and they r cheap to fix and better then any aussie car for 5k. Tell your dad to take u to a driving course too.

yeah he's definatly taking me through driving courses n stuff...i'm obsessed with the skyline and have worked hard as for this thing...i know i'm saying this now and it's probably bullshit but i'm gonna be respecting it so...i seem to learn every lesson the hard way lol

nah i need his help for some things with it...like just said he wudn't help me buy it...eg not give me the 2,000 he was putting into it for me...plus there are 2 other cars at my address and being in Vic i need to move them to another property we own so it's legal for me to drive the thing on P's. so he said he'd help with that aswell...i'm lucky we own another house and can register them under that address so i can apply for a high powered vechile thing. that and the money he's giving me are the reason...

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
