Hello everyone,

My name is Alex, nearly 30 years old, and I come from Luxembourg.
I am currently getting my R33 registered - it's a GTS-T with a bunch of nice mods, aftermarket turbo and so on :

... but I'll present it in the Builds section ;)

I have a passion for Japanese GT cars that started in my childhood - I'm also the owner of a full stock twin turbo MKIV Supra for more than 7 years now :

My secret dream is to become a famous singer, and stop getting headaches working in computing to afford running my cars haha

I hope I'll spend good times here and have fun chatting with passionate dudes from the opposite side of the world (don't blame me if that isn't 100% accurate, I've always been lame in geography lol)

Have a nice evening everyone !
Cheers, Alex

Hi mate, thanks a lot ! But how did you point out that vacuum thing only looking at this pic ?

No actually not any issue to get RHD cars registered, mods and performance parts are more of an issue than RHD here ! Loads of parts can be registered with no issue in Luxembourg, you can have a 100% road legal racecar but you have to pay a lot for that (each performance part needs to have a certificate that's not cheap, I believe about 300€ per part).
And you have to stick with strange rules... For example, some parts are not able to be registered (Enkei, Volk, all these cool wheel brands), while others like Japan Racing are OK... That's kinda weird when you look at the overall quality, but JR delivers certificates with wheels that allow us to register them, while other brands don't provide these documents.

I had 2 metal bands in the past, now I'm working on a solo project. I started posting some pop & rock covers on YT that did pretty well, and now I'm currently writing an album that'll be more actual, hope it'll be the beginning of something new for me :)
Here's one of my best covers, I mean it didn't buzz all around the world but I've been surprised and quite happy to see how many people watched and shared it - https://youtu.be/-MuXwDSa8wE
And that's from my previous metal band haha - www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oD4ndfnN5I
I don't wanna be spammy so maybe we can chat a little bit via DM mate :) generally it's not really appreciated to throw links on forums like this so I'm not gonna mess around lol

Wish you a nice day bud

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
