Hi fellow nissan livers

I have recently done a engine swap on my 1997 Nissan Navara Dual Cab Ute 4WD petrol KA24 Engine

The distributor I had for the old motor doesn't go on the new motor, I am led to believe there is 2 different distributor for the same engine

the engine I got was from a 2WD Automatic I had to change engine sensor and sump to make it fit as the sump was different but now I can't get the distributor on any one could possibly help

thanks

This is funny. It's a Skyline forum. Not a truck forum. Almost no-one here will have ever laid eyes on a KA24. We had them in Navaras (and no-one ever lifts the bonnet on a ute!) and I think we have them in some pox ridden FWD Nissan Shitbox in the early-mid 90s (the Pintara, and its badge engineered Ford clone - and no-one ever lifted the bonnet on one of those either).

So, perhaps just go down to the local Jap/Nissan wrecker and see what they have on the shelf? Might take you an hour.

    • thanks, will conduct myself accordingly. i unfortunately put about 150 miles on the car before reading this thread again, however no PS issues, and definitely no turbo issues. it spools normally and still feels fast to me, probably because my previous car was an N/A auto sedan...gonna go fix the PS vacuum line though lol. safe to say, got what i came to this thread for. thanks
    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
