superspit, try and find how many cars where imported TOTALLY in a year and then see how many commodores are sold each year.

I read somewhere in 2002 when i imported my car there was something like 27k cars or so.  say 15% of that are 33's then thats about 4000 in one year.  holden sell in excess of 27,000 commodores a year.. eaaaasy!

ah Radium....your figures sound 'safe'. I'd be prepared to use your 'formula' on this one!! Thankyou.

As far as 'bits'n'pieces' of R32 and other 'halfamongrels' mentioned in previous threads.....I wonder if these are "registered vehicles.

In a typical run of small cars... eg. Accent, Corolla etc. - they can expect 40,000-50,000 per year.

Now how many do Skylines do you see?

My point is that for a cheap performance car (ie. I expect R34 GTt to be under $40,000) - is it surprising you don't see more!

How many Honda Preludes, Toyota Celicas or locally sold coupes do you see?

I will prove to you how common r33s are..

carsales, a popular commonly searched car site, has a listing of the top 5 cars that are searched for on their website.

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c....private_search

The Skyline ranks just below the Holden Commodore, and just above the Ford Falcon.

The proof is in the pudding.

dosent that mean more people are tryin 2 get rid of their skyline instead of having one registered?

and besides, if I had an R33 I'd be gettin rid of it too :) :flame:
