hey guys,

i have a 92 (ca18det) 180sx converted to a rb25det with a good amount of mods. the stock ca18det diff is still in it, and lets just say i think it on its way out. there is a clunk in the rear when i change gears at low revs, and a drone when i am in 5th at any speed.

i want to know what upgrades are avilable - i suppose a 2 way LSD or a stock one out of a tuffer car. aprox cost would be good aswell.

thanks, jonathan

I know we changed the diff in the 200 for an R32 GTR rear end. It required a modified tail shaft as the rear uni is actually a CV joint assembly which is quite tough. I dont know how interchangeable the rear cradle/diff assembly is between all S13/14/15 R32/33/34' but that the way i would go. Then you can these utilise the larger drive shafts as well.

yeh i was thinking along those lines, but for the money i would spend i could get a 2 way mechanical and just swap it over. ???

just need to know where i can get a good second hand one from in melb.
