I have just brought myself a GT35R turbo and now wanting big hp.

The problem is that I'm running the stock injectors and want to upgrade them.

Does anyone know what a cheaper injector upgrade would be for a RB25DET NEO.

Looking at about 550 cc Top Feed injectors.

Would the Rx7 injectors fit ?

Would Bosch 363 injectors fit ?

Any other good injectors ?

Thanks

R33 Fuel rail will only bolt up if you change your inlet runners...R33 are side feed, R34 are top feed...and vastly different.

Stick with the top feed, half the rpice and heaps more choices. But R34 GTT's have small holes in the inlet manifold to suite those skinny injectors. There are a few more brands making injectors for R34's now, shop around. :D

RB20DET injectors also fit and go upto 720cc you just need to change the plug (simple soldering job)

Help me out here Ian, this is a picture of the three types of RB injectors. The one on the left is the R34 GTT injector style, the one in the middle is the R33 GTST injector style and the one on the right is the RB20/26 injector style.

Is there a fitting kit you can buy that let's you fit the RB20/26 style of injector into an RB25 Neo? If so what brand, how much and where do you get it?

I dont know if this helps, but i know u can use RB20/26/RX7 injectors in Honda's with a resister pack. SO if the theory holds tru, u can can run injectors made for our cars. Ppl in the US like RC Engineering / Rodchester / Lucas / Bosch make upto 1000cc++ injectors which cost half the price as ur jap counterparts. We use em all the time with great results.

Has some low impedance (u need resister pack) to fit, but just google and u'll get plenty of dealers. I got some 4x440cc's for $300AUD.

Just to add, apparently WRX injectors can be made to fit quite easily, and there is a mod to allow double the flow capcity (a factory installed restrictor is removed).

I have also heard bad things about RX7 injectors and spray patterns.

just something to think about, maybe a bit outside the square.

You are right weq, for RB20/26 there is no Problem with using Rockester, Bosch, Jecs, Nippon Denso etc The top feed standard is readily available. Hondas run the top feed standard so they are interchangeable. But I haven't been able to find any of the large OE injector manufacturers making the skinny R34 GTT (RB25DET NEO) style. So you have to buy the expensive Japanese brand names.

As for RX7 injector spray pattern, I heard that story years ago. So I tested them and they look pretty good to me, sure I have seen better (Bosch Motorsport for one), but I have seen plenty that are worse. Most of it comes from the fact the Series V turbo injectors are getting old now, and you have to buy 8 or 9 to get 6 good ones. But that's nothing unusual for used injectors.

Hope that clarifies :)

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
