What company's do import finance

Im currently looking around for finance... and finding it a little bit difficult. Can anyone suggest a company that does finance for imports? And what sort of interest rate you are paying?

Try going through a finance broker... if you can, get a commercial/business finance loan. You save heaps in interest.. the standard rate would be around 7-8%.

I got my R34 Financed through a finance company in Sydney.

Laurentide finalcial services.

The actual finance is through the Westpac.

The car will need to be less than 7 years old by the end of the finance.

The car will need to be for work purpose (Commercial Hire/Purchase)

I got mine no problem. Rang a few places and because of the 7 year thing, most people could only do 3 years with big residual, but I got mine on 4 years, 30%

You might also have trouble if you are importing the car yourself. They don't like that, as the car will be owned by the finance company until the end of the terms.

I bought mine privatly and that put a lot of companies off.

I had to get a full inspection on the car done before they would finance it.

Now I'm the happy driver of an R34 GT-T for $506 per month.

Interest rate is about 7.25%

Gday Heath, why dont you just buy my 32 GTR : ) much cheaper than an 33 GTR. Getting sick of it sitting around gathering dust.

Havent heard of many people getting much luck with finance for imports unfortunately. Might be worth calling some of the bigger vehicle importers, as they might get asked these questions?
