exporting car from australia

i am asking this for my friend

one of my friend have a car with too much modifications on it. since he has spend a lot of money on his car.. he likes to bring the car back to hong kong....

where should he starts from.....

any rules or whatever will be involved.....??

A good starting point will be ask the department in HK, which resposible for import to HK.
