Kings Springs:

Front - KDFL- 101 (355-360mm ride height)

Rear - KDRL- 87 (330mm ride height)

- KDRS- 87 (360mm ride height)

Will let you know how I go.

approx 30% increase spring rate.

Fronts suit r33/r34,

Rears suit z32 (tapered spring ID 88mm-77mm), KDRL are 300mm or KDRS 330mm uncompressed spring length.

Hey did you end up fitting these king springs ?? how did it go ?? is that the full part number?? interested?? :D
that king springs part number for the fronts is correct as i just fitted them to my s1 RS4

the rears tho,im not sure

That part number is that for r33 gtr springs?? lows not super lows? were you happy with front ride height?? make much of a handling difference?? :(

Just checked king springs catalog and those part numbers 4 front springs were for r33/34 not listed as gtr My understanding was that front springs were the same as gtr not gts-t as gts-t is not 4wd Kings dont list a part number for gtr odd!! My car is s1 stag rs4 auto same as yours I think?? Would still like to know how the kingers panned out?? only $149 from auto barn. Cheers if you can help.?? :O

grab the whiteline R34 GTS4/GTR front springs... or lovell/king etc

Unless you can get Stagea specific (wagon) springs you are better to stick with the stockers. Most cost effective handling mod is a (much) heavier rear sway bar. Bilsteins (sometimes sold under Nismo brand) will give handling improvement and can also be used to regulate height.

Personally Bilsteins and the whiteline alignment bushes with a more aggressive alingment were my favorite mods, then springs and swaybars. Good tyres obviously help.

Yeah will be going the full suspension route later probably go the Tein coilovers(rs4 specific items) route and swaybars bushes etc can get teins for a grand. Just wanting to know how rbd2 went with those springs ?? as wanting to lower car in the meantime as its height pisses me off jeez the lower front lip is the same height as my rx7's front bumper bar.and I hate the nose up bum down look of the stag. My shocks are still good just want springs and sway bars for now.white line, kingers,apexi etc etc but will not going so low as to stuff up the geometry :P Oh cheers 4 all da info guys :P Any more spring part numbers/ brands/feed back etc Would be helpful?? cheers :ninja:

S-Tune springs & shocks (freshly reconditioned) and the bigger rear bar has made a big difference to my wagon. But I'm sure with brand new factory shocks it wouldn't be too shabby either...

>_< Agreed :down: much heavier rear swaybar best cost effective handling mod and recommended to all!! Stag is actually fun to drive through hills!! now!1(does not handle like a taxi) Car tourque still has three of those custom rear swaybars for c34 stag 2 ajustable and 1 none. paid $260 watch out when I went to pick it up they tried to charge me $300 wtf!

They seem to be a very good price for a quality brand of suspension, does anyone have em or know anyone who does cause i was looking at some cheap coilies but these are fairly cheap and a reputable brand.

I was considering that very kit, but got hold of second-hand S-Tune for less (including rebuilding the shocks)

I see, have you heard anything about them like what the adjustment is like.

Edit: just read about them on nengun, 20mm of adjustment that is piss weak there not even worth it.

well i had my S2 RS4S lowered this week, and had a wheel alignment, this was as far as could be adjusted with the standard set up.

what camber kits (front or rear kits/ arms) do i need to get the camber to where it needs to be?

do all the other dimensions look okay?

What specs were used for your alignment?

Here are mine:

Front caster L 6deg R 5.75

Front camber L neg 1 deg R neg 1 deg

Front Toe in L0 R0 total 0

Rear camber L neg 0.5 deg R neg 0.5 deg

Rear toe in L -2mm R -2mm

To get more caster you can get eccentric bushes but better still adjustable arms ( I think mine are GTR) ..failing that knock back the rh caster til you have a 1/4 deg less on the right than the left to allow for road camber. You may be able to reduce your neg camber with eccentric bushes as the adjustable parts are quite expensive. You should be able to reduce front toe in with the existing set up.

Your rear camber is quite excessive (might be fine for the track but may cause wear problems etc on the road) and won't be fixed with bushes but adjustable rear camber arms are not too expensive. I have adjustable camber arms and wind on some more neg camber for track days and then return it to spec for the road. You should be able to reset toe in to zero.

I have been using the above settings for a couple of years with no uneven wear issues.

eibach have a pro kit spring set listed for the stagea.

part no: 6345.140, seems to be the same as the 97 Infiniti Q45

    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year. 
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
