Hi

If I dont get the price for my car i am after, i will be selling the wheels and suspension in exchange for the standard stuff + cash.

you can have a look at the wheels here, they are on my car at the moment. rubber is over 70% tread on all fours and the condition of the wheels is almost brand new. The price I am chasing for these are $1700+, so make an offer. I dont need stock wheels as i have already sourced some.

The HKS suspension is best I have ever felt (and ive driven many skylines). It is the purple and 'chrome' colour one, hypermax 2. it is damper and height adjustable and it is in almost new condition also. The price for these including the exchange of your standard suspension in good order is $1500.

Make offers (not silly ones), and if the car doesnt sell in the next month or so, i will be doing the swaps.

cheers,

Michael

What's the offset?
sorry, forgot to add that!

REARS 17x9 offset +37

FRONTS 17x8 offset +35

255/40 tyres at back, 235/45 tyres at front. all tyres are maxgrade II

these wheels are in the volk racing range offered by RAYS. have a look at the wheels on their website

cheers

yeh, the offset is for GTST's.

ive looked around on the web, and they are about $3.5K new for just the 4 rims when converted to aussie $$.

whoever gives me the best offer over $1700 will get them, otherwise i'll just put them on my next car..as they are virtually new.

dammit offset and size just slightly off... looking at the page, i think the size + offset is from FD3S RX-7. won't fit my S15 nicely

this bloke is a top dude to deal with ppl, free bump :D

hmm, well i'll have to source it then, as i will need to put something back on the car. the price would be less to what it would cost me for standard suspension. not sure how much its going around for atm, maybe $200-300????

Very interested.

When are you looking at selling your car by and then deciding that you want to sell these parts separately?

Condition is as new - meaning no gutter rash, scratches etc?

NJR,

i am planning to put it in unique cars, which will go on sale at 1 nov. if i get enough for the wheels, then i will sell them. i had another good look at them today, and only on one wheel, the rear one, theres a very small gutter rash (about less than 1cm) right at the top of the rim (its basically on the edge and not deep at all. its so high up, you can barely notice it. i will take a photo if you like. there are no scratches or anything on all the rims beside that tiny rash i told you about. they look like new.

grepin,

indeed they are light weight wheels :P

Please see thread on the main for sale section, as wheels, coilovers and turbo are now definately for sale and are off the car(turbo coming off in a few days). all of the info i have posted here will go to other thread.

cheers,

Michael

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
