R33 GTS/GTS-t Reverse EL Dials Group Buy 2

Recommended Posts

Due to popular demand, a second group buy will be arranged shortly, for those who missed out in the first one this is your chance to pick up a set of these dials. The price will be same as before:

$140 per set, pick up available in Melb or +$7 for next day postage around Aus.

I'm looking for payments to be in by next week Friday which is the 29th October. For all those interested PM me for more details

Daryl

and thanks to Pushead for the pics hehe

refer to the first post, the guys have discussed installation there, they didn't seem to have too many problems. PM me if your interested I'll give you my bank details. I can get the dials at any time, so no need to wait for everyone to pay, after paying I can have the dials sent to you within 5 days

Thanks Daryl

there really needs to be like 20 purchases for them to be able to make those type of dials, Im not sure where the supplier gets them from, he won't tell me. I reacon HK would have this kinda stuff tho if you look in the right places

Yes HK has all this type of shit!!

I will look out for some when i am there in December.

Customs is a real bitch now in Aus when you have a boarding pass that says you have come from hk or bangkok, they check all your bags and charge you import tax if you have more than 1 of the same item. Otherwise if i found there i would have bought a whole bunch and brought them back.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
