At the moment I have Bendix ultimates on the back, as I didn't want too good a pad creating rear brakes bias that would send me off the road arse first if I had to brake in a emergency

Not sure what the other guys think, but I have always ran a really good pad up front ( Racebrake RB74) and a lesser pad on the back (Bendix Ultimates)

Brakes are on the way, should be on by the end of the month

OK got the 33 brakes installed on the weekend but the pedal feels a bit dodgy. Braided lines were installed at the same time and brakes were bled and pressure bled several times. Pedal has always been a little soft up the top but now it's soft for half the travel but is really hard down the bottom, can't really pump it up either so I don't think there's any air still in there.

Earlier in this thread it was stated that R32 master cyl. is bigger than the R33 master cyl. which I thought would give me a really hard pedal. Have I got this confused? is the list earlier in the thread wrong? do I need to get a 33 master cyl.? or is the 32 master cyl. fine and mine might just be on its' last legs?

Help!

Bump!

I'm running 33 GTSt brakes on my R32 with the stock master cylinder. I also have stock pads in back, and Project Mu pads up front, and my fronts lock up pretty easy compared to the back. I don't know if this is because of the 33 front rotors/calipers or the pads (or the 235 front/255 rear tires). I'm going to be putting on some Endless rear pads possible this weekend, so I'll let you know what I discover.

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
