The majority of the weight in a car is in the Engine and Gearbox so i think the wngine would way more than that...

thats what i used to think, but rb2x engines/gearboxes arent that heavy

i did just say the engine itself, not all the other bits around it

Toll wont send for you unless you are a business or have an abn. I've got stuff from melbourne to here through pack'n'send, I had to sell my left testicle on the black market just to get my parts. I was told that the thing goes on size, then they dertermin the cubic weight from the lenght x width x diameter then charge you by weight, thats why mine was so expensive to send because it was a big box.

i got charged $25 for a wooden crate...then sent a diff off to sydney. Cost $113 through pack and send. Then i had a diff sent back (in same crate i paid $25 for) cost $108 to return. I got a call to say my package had arrived, only to find pack and send had opened it, removed its contents, then gave me the diff, but kept the $25 wooden crate i paid for.....

Pack and send are the biggest rip off mail tampering f*k heads....go with TNT

R33 gtr engine , gearbox and accesories including inlet + exhaust manifolds , starter, alt and turbos , as i pulled it off the car weighs 330 kg . ( not including air cond pump or power steer pump , they stay on the car )

gearbox on its own including the little driveshaft 90 kg .

an rb 25 will be less than 240 kg cause you don't have 2 turbos and no diff in the sump .

i would say about 200 kg depending on what accesories you include .

gtr sump weighs 29 kg rb 25 will be a lot less maybe 10 kg the extra turbo will be like 10 -15 kg as well .

Whilst pack n' send is indeed a rip, there isn't too many other options.. dnb organised to get my head delivered using Toll Ipsec, however they didn't secure it too well (and there wasn't too many options in terms of packing something like that :() and it was damaged slightly. They must have been flying around corners or something the whole way..

The price was about 1/2 of Pack 'n Rip however...

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
