Hiring an RX8

My mates girlfriend asked me the other day if I knew of anywhere in Melbourne where she can hire out an RX8 (preferably black) for him as a surprise when they fly down there next year for his birthday. Does anybody have any recommendations or prices of places around the place? It will only be for one day. My mate is gonna be so stoked as he loves RX8s (any rotors really) - what an awesome present!

I'm from Gold Coast, but my mate and his GF are from Brisbane

Don't know of any.

"Great Car Rentals" in Swan St, Ricmond would be the closest thing but I haven't seen any RX8's there.

They hire Lambo Diablo's, Ferrari 355's, TVR's, Porsches, BMW's & Mercedes.

I hunted everywhere for sporty hire cars for the PI weekend but they were the only people I found too.

hmmm interesting - a diablo costs $3000/day to hire on a weekday and $7500 for the weekend. I know I would definiately be getting my money's worth from it. I bet they wouldnt be surprised when ppl return it with bald tyres...

She is really after an RX8 tho....
