i'd like to know how he has no MORAL obligation to hand the sample over.. wtf????   hes a supreme court judge!

he would hand it over if he was under at the time wouldn't he!! implies his guilt in my eyes!

absolutely.....what an amazing idea....no credability for Mr Judge.

Imagine he was the one ruling on a drink driving case?

I use to study legal studies i school and I learned

"The law is applied equally to all"

Now I've added my own extension to that,

"unless your in a position of power".

I would like to hear what he has to say to the next drink driver he comes across in court.

He does have a moral obligation, arguably. Just not a legal obligation. You wouldn't either in the same situation (have a legal obligation, that is).

Personally I don't think its all that amazing the sample got lost; these things do happen. I'm not sure anyone in the police service would loose it intentionally: why would they? It just makes them look bad. Moreover, it should be rather easy to track down which officer/etc was responsible for picking up the sample...

  • 2 weeks later...
I have some contacts in this area and he was definitely sozzled.  Word is that he has been that way for about a year and a half now...

As usual Adam is on the money:

Not only did he have one copy of the vial but he also had the second. And knew everyone was looking for it.

Now resigned and in detox

I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
