help:r32 auto to man conv - no speedo!

can anyone help me please, i have converted my r-32 gts-t from auto to manual, and the speedo doesn't work. cable is connected, is it possible that it is electrical problem?

it runs off a cable.. so no i don't think it would be that.

is the cable for the auto or the manual? dont know if there is a difference, worth a try.

I didnt have a problem when i did my HR31.... However i found that the cables were different and it was only grabbing at about 40kph+ then it would wobble til about 80kph...

I found that the cable was not going all the way into the reciver in the gearbox... Like it was pushing the cable up into the line a bit and causing it to crimp...

Maby you have pushed the cable up into the outer cable????

Pull the dash out and go for a drive... I bet you either have a snapped cable or the end that goes into the gearbox is not pushed in properly... Remember the ends are like a cam type fit... i mean they are beveled so that they spin perfectlly....
