reading compliance plates?

this is probably a stupid question but can anyone tell me how to tell what year my car is? what colour it should be? and wheather its a Vspec or what, by reading the compliance plate or what ever thank you.

you can tell from the cars VIN number apparently.

Do a search for Nissan FAST software..... it has it all explained.

Or you could just put your VIN number in here and we can run it through the FAST software.

the vin will look like

ECR33xxxxxx or BNR33xxxxxx its on the green compliance plate and blue engine plate
