Hi Guys,

I'm trying to find out what a pair of tail lights are worth and how hard they are to find for these two models skylines.....

The ones I'm talking about are the jap spec ones different to the ones we saw here.....

Are they rare?  Expensive??

Cheers,

Simon

Jap Hr31 tails lights are getting very hard to find indeed, and would fetch a fair price (guess around $170-$200 per light)

Don't know about the Dr30 taillights, but would expect them to be harder to find and most likely more expensive aswell.

There's quite a few people who have given up on getting the old school hotplates for their 31's... If you are thinking about getting a few sets sent over, make sure you get the centre garnish as well. :(

I don't think you'd have much trouble selling them provided they are in reasonable condition.

the late model dr taillights are similar to the S3 r31 ausi taillights ( dr30 ones don't have the smaller section for the indocators and reverce lights at the bottom) next to imposible to find here, the earlier ones the stove tops ones are not quite as hard to find and i wouldn't pay more than $200 for a set unless they were brand new, hint hint....thats what the stove tops look like at night? sort of the like the passage lights pictured about...

damm and i have no money at the moment its always the way... TUFSSS, if your mate can get late model DR ones in that condition at about the same cost them i'd say there would be a few of us here alone that would jump at the chance!

i bought a pair of HR31import lights not long ago ...simply coz tehy were cheap ..but i'm not a fan ..i ended up swapping them for a good pair of Ser3 31 lights instead...

i paid 210bucks including the center garnish and postage from brisbane for them.

I've seen the DR30 ones with the two round circles inside the squares, are these local or JDM?????

All DR tail lights are JDM, i beleive the ones you are talking about there are the S1 tail lights...

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
