R33 vs R32 brake differences

Just wandering how to tell the difference between R32 and R33 gtst calipers???

Hard to explain.

But the 32 calipers have some small fins on the side of the caliper towards the top of where Nissan is embosed on it.

The 33 calipers are slightly larger and are smooth all over and have no fins.

Hope that makes some sense.

fins or ribs, whatever you want to call them i suppose.

The 32 & 33 Calipers are exactly the same size.

The only difference is the mounting position as the R33 use the R32 GTR sized front rotor, so they need to be mounted further away from the center to cater for the larger disc.

Some say the fins on the caliper help cool it.. It may be true but I highly doubt it will make that much difference. I don't see fins on the brembo's.
