Went to willowbank tonight, 1 pass only 14.2 @ 100mph in my s15.

Everything stock except pod filter and f.b.u. (brass restrictor removed from vacume line)

60ft was 2.2, major axle tramp too. with a better launch and less tramp a high 13 should be on the cards.

Not bad for a almost stock car.

s15's are freaks very easy power when I had my MY01 wrx with internals , bigger turbo , comp etc etc my mates s15 with just an exhuast/filter fitted would still crawl away right up top.

Nice mph for such little mods should be able to run high 13's with that trap speed.

Nice ET & TS for stock form !

Fitting dumpie, full exhaust, front mount, more boost (14psi) and some decent tire's and pinapples to eliminate axle tramp. You should see a low to flat 13, maby a high 12 :)

Slither's are a great car and easy power is gained from simple modification's as they are light that also heaps but then again taction is a big factor for light cars with decent power.

Another got thing about the s15 is the bigger injectors :) - 480cc rather than 370's which are in the s13.

:D

Well my other car is 98mod wrx with forged internals, sti box and diffs, vf22/ t03 15psi, 186kw@ all 4, uni chip front mount, etc etc.... best time with a 1.9 60ft is a 13.5 @ 102mph. So in the s15 i should do a high 13 with 2flat/ sub 2 60ft. Seems to be doing very well for such little mods. If i can crack 110mph with stock turbo at max of 1.2bar i will be very happy.

Well, the car is stock bar the pod. Dont forget a s13 also weighs less then a s15. My car spikes to 10.5psi though holds 8.7 psi ( as tested and recorded on the dyno). The car also made 180rwhp 2 days ago on the dyno. I think i could get 102mph with a better launch and gear change but thats the best i could manage last night

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
