I'm new to the Skyline brotherhood. Have recently purchased R33 sedan, which is fitted with Volk 17's (Don't know model, multispoke design) I need the plastic spanner that should have been supplied with the rim to remove the centre cap covering the wheel nuts. I've tried everybody on the left coast, is there an Australian distibutor in the east??

speaking of volks....the other day i was at a suspension/brakes joint up in tullamarine getting my daily driver (holden commo VR) some new rear shockers....while waiting in the store i looked at a catalog of rims. Looking in the calalog i spotted white 'VORK' rims....on the other side of the rim photo it said 'RAVS engineering'. what a cheap ass rip off! Imagine going up to ur mates 'check out my new VORKS' only to realise u've been stiffed with some crap imitation.

Not sure about being a rip-off. "R" is pronounced as "L" in japanese so maybe the pronounciation has been taken literally....

I once purchased one from West state Tyres on Albany Hwy, Cannington about 2 years ago. I broke mine just recently and these dudes don't stock them any more. But they stock Volk now so maybe if lucky.

Yeah, I've seen those wheels. What a fuggin joke, that's just pathetic. I think they might of been in an Avanti catalog.

    • LOL, "they said it might be slippery"..... 30 seconds in your off, 60 seconds in white twin backs into the corner That new track looks good, and the Datsun was chopping cars quite nicely
    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
