yeah I have the BN Sports widebody kit. I advertised it for sale cos I needed the cash.

everyone likes the kit, but not its cost though. I asked $2500 for it, which is what it costs for an original BN Sports 9 piece widebody kit (front bumper, rear bumper, sideskirts, rear pumped fenders, front pumped fenders and fuel flap).

Some guy offered to copy it and give me the original back along with 2 copies, but then he dissapeared off the face of the earth, he said he was with Jetspeed, so when I rang jetspeed they said they weren't too keen to make a widebody mould.

I asked one of my mates how much the mould would make as he took moulds of my vertex ket and he said it'd be about 8k. So I gave up on the whole making copies thing and decided that I'll just put it on my car be the only one in Australia with the kit, so everyone can kiss my black ass

the kit actually cost me 100,000yen plus shipping, roughly it came to just under $1700 landed. it retails for about $2500. I'm not too interested in selling it now as I don't need the cash anymore. I don't mind someone getting copies of it made though, as long as I get something out of it, my original is returned undamaged and the kit is copied in melbourne. I haven't mounted or painted the kit yet as I'm waiting to finish the engine mods to the car before I get started on the body.

i wouldnt mind if you could make a copy and ill pay you what it costs, other option is to ship it to me in sydney and ill make a copy of t here, i have mates who do bodykits.( costs to much to start from scrath) are you sure you wont take a reasnable offer for it

yeah I'm sure I don't wanna sell it. I don't mind the kit being copied as long as it stays in melbourne (last time I sent off a vertex kit to be copied to QLD and that was a logistical nightmare... by the time I got the kit back every tom dick n harry and their pet goldfish had one) and also the kit has to be returned undamaged. If you can organise that then we can discuss a deal for me supplying the original.

If not I do container runs from japan almost every month. I can get you an original from BN Sports. I also have a trade account with URAS, so if you want any of their kits I can hook you up with a cheaper deal.

i dunno, I don't think you can. I haven't fitted it to my car yet, so I can't tell you for sure. The rear fender for example only comes halfway down over the original guard, the rest is part of the sideskirt, so I'd say you'd need at least 6 of the pieces. The front bumper I guess you could bog and blend into the wider guard. Rear bumper forms part of the rear guard as well, so that might be a lil trickier.

There's also a "garage V" (i think that's what its called... this was the one I wanted originally... its the one in the "GTR Story" DVD) widebody kit, a veilside widebody kit and a kakimoto widebody kit. Although I think the latter 2 are for GTR's only.

anyone know where to buy one ive been racking my brain for days, thanks in advance

We get all our kits done by Ken Streeter.

He makes fibreglass kits for most imports, they are excellent in quality. The main reason we go to him is that his kits have a lot of flex... so when/if you hit/touch anything, the kit is more likely to bounce/flex rather than snap. He gave us a demonstration by taking a sideskirt for a 180sx, and bending it over itself. I was impressed =)

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
