hmmm...i dont know....

what i would do is look at random cars....and see what cars have indicators that might fit if they have spots in front bars.....

but try contacting nissan...they can usually get that crap from japan....ummmm and that other place that gets all the stock parts....

does anyone have the size of the gtr indicators because i think they are about 25mm (i think thats what your meant) radius...

is it www.justjap.com.au

??

edit: i couldnt find anything on justjap...what about fibrevision or somewhere like that im sure they could get some....

i can post a pic on the 29th of january. thats when the car gets back from the shop. I took this option cuz theres no way in hell i'm payin for genuine GTR ones, ($330) when im just as happy with cheaper ones ($4.95 each). Because the lamps are a bit bigger then the hole, then they stick out a lil bit, but i like it that way. I'll b sure to post pics.

Thanks Paul

yeah, ive got the GTR/400R ones in my 400R front bar.. at $160 a pop they arent cheap, lucky they came with my car..

trailer lights ive seen are very similar, basically just a yellow dome with a black shroud, and cost alot less :D

there are 2 types of trailer lamps.. the big square edged round ones that stick out heaps and look shizzle

or go to WA salvage and get the smaller more rounded ones... they fit really well and look quite OEM if done right

now alternatively... i think its the pajero or the daihatsu terios or something that uses a clear round indicator that you will find useful..

post a pic first though please..

So far, I went to few places around town looking for my indicators, only one place have been helpful and that is Xtreme Machines.....Credit to them . They know customer service.

All of the other shops, I won't name them , have been more than un-pro.........

REsult = me not having my front bar put on, and now it looks I will be mounting my old bar back on to go to the cruise this Sunday. I am mad. Sick of people telling you they will call and they don't. sorry guys about this but it had to comeout..... :D

As far for the Extreme Machines, guys go in there and see what nice place it is and how organised it is. Very well done:)

White lenses, orange globes :D Would absolutely look the shizzle on your car cos it's white Al :D

I can't say I've seen them in trailer lights, but you might want to try Bunnings, as we stocked trailer lights there a few years (orange lenses but)

And you're right about some shops *cough* "oh, he only wants trailer lights, and he's not gonna spend megabucks at our shop, bugger it" is often the way.....

    • Nah its a server spammer thing  Although, now that I manually approve all the accounts I can probably loosen up some of the restrictions.
    • Thread bump, again! Although, no bad news this time. Posting for the sake of possible root cause. Basically, I rebuilt it (mostly stock), installed Haltech + sensors, had it running fine on new ECU.  Still not really understanding why it cracked pistons last time. Got to tuners, and while checking timing, noticed +-10deg of timing scatter while revving. Changed CAS, and it was rock solid. While not definitive, can't imagine seeing 20+ psi with that amount of scatter would be a good thing. Also glad I found something.   Bit more of a run down; Carried out a stock rebuild, a set of stock pistons, out of a spare bottom end. Everything stock apart from head studs and oil restrictors. (so I can pretend I didn't let the Nissan out, ha.) Armed with the measuring gear and FSM, set about doing overhaul. Oil restrictors as per oil control thread for a RB25, stock oil pump, drifting. Head drain/vent from rear of head, to passenger side of sump above oil level. Two dash 10 vent lines from drivers side of sump (unused atm) Hi octane style cam cover breather kit Splash covers over last 2 cam caps. Both breather lines from cam covers to vented to atmosphere catch can, not plumbed back into sump (wanted to see what it was actually breathing). Got it run in (did about a 1000km) no to low boost scenario, As I had questions over old ECU setup. Installed haltech +sensors for flex Retune on E85 (finding CAS Issue along the way), made 300rwkw at 20psi, out of wastegate. Did a drift day the next day (yes, it was a big weekend!) and was checking catch can throughout the day, ZERO blowby. I mean nothing. Lines from cam covers are not even wet. Done a bunch of street driving, spirited and catch can is still dry. Early days I guess, but pretty happy so far. Also now run 10w60, up from the 10w40 that I used to run. Oil pressure is significantly better, especially when hot (as you would expect)
    • Thanks buddy. I thought it was a server storage thing. 🤣
    • Perfect! Thanks for this, both look like great options!
