Hi everyone,

I've recently bought an R33 gtst, and the clutch has started slipping pretty badly.. probably the amount of times spent at the drags (14.4 @ 96.5mph, stock...), I'm just interested in wether the R33 gtst uses a pull or push type clutch, I have bought a R33 GTR clutch, just cause it came up at a cheap price, and I'm wondering if it will fit. it would be good to know before I pull the box off.

All info appreciated,

Mark.

R33 GTSt uses push type clutch as standard, but R33 GTR is pull, I believe.

I think there are kits you can buy that convert a push type to a pull type.

HMM, the only other thing that I can think of is just using the GTR clutch plate with the Gtst flywheel and pressure plate, do you think that is possible or is there a difference in size???

The gearbox input splines are the same, but I don't know whether it would work. Also you would need to be sure of the condition of the GTSt parts.

FAIR ENOUGH,

Thanks heaps for your help, I just got a call from a cluch shop that I rang a few days ago, and they said they would sell me a 2400pound pressure plate, with new clutch plate and machine the flywheel for $300 do you think thats reasonable???
