Recommended Posts

yeah what he said... cause theyre not that smart when it comes to web sites..... as u can see lol.... all u had to do to see the platinum was remove the NON- from the pdf link and HEY PRESTO its the other prices... which is now the same

If you follow the links from the top level domain... they actually still have the "platinum members" login.... which uses a weak password hashing method... which is easily reverse engineered by viewing the source code

the user name and password are both "msy" lol I just access the linked page with the parts prices directly.

Let me know more details, i.e colour, budget, size and make and I can see what I can do. Can get most makes and will do you a good price. PM me if interested.

go into jb hi fi tomorrow and buy a new one for the marked price, then go to your car and put it in your car, then go back to the shop with your recipt and pick up another one and walk stright out with your recipt so if anyone asks you just bought it, then go to your car and take the othero ne out and go get a refund casue you made a mistake. works everytime

That's outright theft, mate. :thumbdwn:

JB always sell at the best prices anyway, so why would you encourage stealing?

If you want a good price. Best way is Walk into Digi world City... tell them what price other shop offer you and they will bet the price for sure. I been dealing with them for years now. Always get me a nice price. Go to the net check the price out, walk into digi world... boss this this this sell this this price. What urs. I want to buy it today.

any deal for x2 monitors? I'm looking at getting 17", x2. Bcos the viewable area on my 19" CRT is only a bit more, if not very similar to a 17" flat panel. So i'm thinking dual 17" Flat panels would be fine.

call me picky, but i'm after black or silver - not the obligatory biege :P

cheers.

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
