LowRollaBoy
Hey , my Cef has s13 JIC coilovers in it currently. But they coilovers are actually short because they are for an s13. The coilovers are wound up the highest and the car is 100mm off the ground at the chassis, but even lower with the exhaust!!! Who wants to trade + moneys for proper Cef coilovers? Cos i want the additional height clearance. Vic prefered. JIC coilovers in top condition not leaking. C_DawG
Never seen any proper Ceffy coil overs, they are all normal S13 ones from what I can tell. I suggest talking to a suspension place about adding some helper springs. jaik
Yep. thats what I was thinking. The suspension is identical... how else could every other link be the same as S13 without this height issue. My guess is that you dont have helper springs. they will give you the 30mm you require. oz_cefiro
D2 make specific coil overs for cefiros. Made in taiwan, designed in UK or US. RiverSide
There are cefiro coilovers available in Japan, they tend to be longer and have heavier dampening etc.......Possibly also heavier springs than S13. dangerous_daveo
Heavier dampening I wouldnt bother with, its Australia and we have rough roads. Just see about some heavier springs maybe, I think mine were $80 each. OkiC33
I like to use S-13 suspension, cuz there is a lot less spring travel. If you want the proper sized strut a S-14 front is about the same size as a strut designed for a cefiro. The only thing is that you can't use the S-14 rears, they are way too long. I like 12k springs on the front and 10k on the rear, makes for a crappy ride, but it's great for drifting Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62024-swap-cef-jic-s13-coilovers-for-longer-a31-coilovers/#findComment-1174539 Share on other sites
