Just got my manual conversion done on my 4 door r33 its a completely different car its soo much better.

I ending getting a r34 gtst box put in it and is alot smoother then my old r33 one.

So if anyone wants a auto tans for there r33 then i got one for ya make me an offer.

Yeah. From what i gathered it was actually the clutch just skimmin the flywheel which would explain the noise.

Box and all runs sweet .

Box has some slight input shaft bearing noise still ..

changed oil in it , put in some additive and the knocking noise went after 10 minutes..

Im just glad it wasnt as bad as 1st thought

I think the guy who owned it before was deaf

Tail shaft hopefully $260 if mine doesn't rock up then $380

Labour think was round $400ish

soppagas - the auto box aint work anything really ..... shitler said i could have his ol;d one if anything ever went wrong on mine.

good luck soppa .... i think rep, dirtydezza and i are the only three on these forums that have bothered to mod the auto .... reps got the hoity toity high stall .... mine is not quite reaching breaking point yet but when it does i think im going to have to look at some more heavy duty options ..... and dezza .... i think from memory he replaced his not that long ago.
