Where to Stay?

Hey All,

Just wondering if any of you boys that have been or are in Japan can give me a heads up on the best time of year for a visit to Japan. Would like to see a D1 comp while im there and maybe a JGTC round. What time of year are these types of comps held and where is the best place to stay in Japan in regards to travelling to these events?

Wouldnt mind going to the Auto Salon over there either.

and Tokyo Auto Salon has just finished. TAS is mid January each year. so unfortunately there is not much motorsport happening at that time of year.

aahmmm. there was just one last 30th of jan the drift event. you would most likely see some amateur racing events if you look around.

Hmmm end of Jan early Feb sounds good. What type of weather is Japan having during Jan and Feb?

Bloody cold. The end of Feb is the coldest part of winter.
