This is a groupp buy(GB) for various intercoolers. To make this GB happen we will need a minimum of 20 intercoolers purchased from the manufacture.

All prices include shipping to your door anywhere in australia.

Once I have the minumum order number I will need a deposit (50%) from everyone before I will purchase the coolers. After the last payment has been made I will get the coolers manufactured and shipped to australia.

Please note on this GB I will not be able to return your deposit after the manufacturing process has started.

can i please ask a probably silly question what are the major advanges/disadvantages between a bar and plate intercooler & a tub & fin type ??? are these hybrid or just random chinese ones ???

hybrid intercoolers are made in china. So the hybrid actually is in fact a random chinese one too. If you put a hybrid cooler next to a random chinese cooler the only difference that will be spotted is the logo. The performance is exactly the same.

All of these coolers are made in exactly the same factory as the hybrid.

TUBE AND FIN

Benefits:

low cost

low weight

Disadvantages:

"effective" lower efficiency compared to bar and plate

is a little more awkward to modify core size

BAR AND PLATE

Benefits:

35% greater heat sink capability (meaning you effectively COULD have a SMALLER intercooler when compared to the tube and fin)

Generally known as the "better product"

easy to modify size and re weld

Disadvantages:

weight

cost

some limitation in sizes

The tube and fin is a common everyday upgrade due to its low cost.

The bar and plate is far superior BUT it costs more.

i'm in for this one 600*300*76 bar and plate. i may even buy one from ur other GB (the ones you've bought out of your own pocket) if u still have some left in a few weeks. I just got my hands on some apexi gt spec IC piping so now all i need is a cooler!!!

If there was an option of 600x234x65 or 76mm I would get it.

It's just so it's easier to fit behind my front bar.

Do you know where I could source a cooler with a height of about 280mm or less? 300mm is too big for my application but that's all there seems to be on the market at the moment.
