Picked up my copy last night. Good old 24hr Kmart. Got the very first copy too :P Pretty damn good so far even with just a controller its still good. Going to take some time to get used to the weight shifting under brakes in this one.

Ive been using two setups for GT3. One involves a custom built (for something else) box. It's about two foot high. For seats I used two bean bags. Another setup is for Driving Force which has a knee holder thing, I just sat on the couch with that one. Both are quite comfortable. I must say though that I haven't tried DFP with the knee clamp, i doubt it will work too well, because of the 900 degrees and stronger feedback.

HAHA just took an M3 for a spin on Neuremburg (pardon my german) ..........HOLY SHIIIAAAAAATTTT..

this track is insane!!!! this is gonna take forever to master. it's the tightest, fastest, crazy one turn after another track there is. it's sooo long.

anywayz i'm going back to play some more .

ciao

I have to wait till 5, then the next 4 days will be spent collecting cars :P

What is the stuff from the old game you can carry over, its $100,000 from GT3 and the tests from GT4P, is that right?

MMmmmm VERY impressed with this game.. Pre ordred it a while ago. Was there at 9AM to pick it up and have only just got off it. (need to get a Memory Card)

I can see this game causing arguments with my girlfriend... she will want to watch tv but I will have other ideas!

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
