teh cooler looks like a hybird copy, i have one and what cna i say its awsome, alot of people are using these hybird copies as they are soo cheap but do perform pretty good.

Also with that piping kit you will keep your stock pipe which has the bov on it and the one coming out of the turbo

Just for your reference, go to some of the online jap websites such as greenline or nengun as there are specials on full trust kits at the moment!!

I paid $1100 for mine way back when and the kit comes with everything. Have a surf and you'll be surprised how cheap some brand name coolers are! (particularly when you're paying $350 for a non-name core + $700 odd for piping!)

To Suit ECR33 V-SPL, 240 x 600 x 76mm, Suitable for genuine turbo and also GReddy turbo kit

Sorry mate, upon further looking, it actually says FROM $735 and when I clicked on that, I see that that price is for a replacement stock sized intercooler. Sorry for leading you astray but still good prices on the two I quoted above. I'll edit my first post so I don't give the wrong impression to anyone else.

My setup was around 600 mark;

fmic- $300

piping 2.5" - $180 (from exhaust shop)

2 x silicon reducers 3"->2.5" - $80

1 x silicon hose 2.5" - $25

6 x clamps was like around $10-$15

so all up $600 :D

and thats the pic for those who are interested: http://www.dragonmotorsport.com/forum/uplo...y_1_1_24194.jpg

looks godo and piping is a bargin every place i have talked to has been like oh that will be about 400 - 500 for piping pfft :D

also no worries dave also i worked out the 75,999 yen is not including postage and postage is usually like 200 - 300 :O

$5760 at todays exchange rate makes them $576 each plus silicon and clips

if anyones interested i would be willing to buy them and distribute but only if I can find 9 people with good ratings and be definite about buying.

For sea fraight is USD$1500 for x10 intercoolers shipped,

for intercooler kits are USD$3000 for x10 kits

At todays exchange rate that works out around $5800 making them $580 each plus fittings I asked to confirm they are for r33 with piping.

And pavel where did you get FMIC for $300?

hey man, i got the kit you are talking about, but i bought the one that came with all the hoses, clamps, brackets etc. It is a Hybrid copy, same piping and all that. I got the kit for my R32 and it fitted well. What pissed me off though was that i didnt have the pipe that goes onto the turbo, had to use the stock oneand exted it a little bit as it wasnt long enough to go on the other pipe that goes to the cooler (i will be getting a proper pipe made up for it soon!). All in all i think it is a good buy, i got my FULL kit for $700 on my door step. The dealer is a good guy and is very quick on delivery!

    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
