The way you've cut your front bar looks good. i might change mine to look like that to get more flow onto my FMIC too.. have to relocate the number plate obviously.

And of course you've made everyone with an RS4 jealous. that looks awesome. well done

thanks guys :P

i bought the stagea to keep a low profile with cops and people in general (theives) so im unsure if i want it in a magazine but maybe ill change my mind :)

i want personalised plates but then again i dont cause people remember them so easily and usual bullshit of jeleous people damaging it when parked etc

so its gonna be nice and quiet (well thats the plan) and subtle :) but once i drop the clutch it will be abit obvious it aint stock :D

ill be cruisn in perth very very soon and i dont mind taking people for a spin if they want :)

with the 350rwhp figure i got from the 26 in the vl and now i got a couple of new mods im hoping to get a high 12 sec pass at the track but thats on street rubber :aroused: not bad for a cruise liner :)

anyway thanks for the comments

Brad

I'm sure it will be a giggle in wet and wish I was in Perth to go for a ride.

Oh, your low profile idea doesnt work, RB26 in Stagea is not a low profile formula.

Ken

Love ya work.

go for 11's, you know you want too :)

its doable on cheap 235 street tyres :)

hey saft...any idea what my 260rs should do on std boost

..waiting on pfc and avcr before taking it to the track ..but curious as to what time it would do pretty much stock(pipe and pods)

our 260 isnt quite reassembled yet, but the times i've heard are 13.6-13.8.

JAKE 32,

Picked up this thread just to get in contact.Seriously considering a 260RS but would appreciate having a chat with somebody who has one.

Initial contact on 02-6251 5977(w), or 0419 614 236 would be most welcome.

Regards,

Marc2

    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
