Alarm for R33

Hi, I need some general info.

The Nissan alarm has a grey button on the end then 2- smaller round buttons. The left one locks/unlocks. What does the right one do?

I've changed batteries but you still have to stand right up close to the bonnet for it to work. Is this normal?

The driver's window switch can go up/down all the way with one push on the button. The passenger has to hold the button for the whole distance. Is this normal or just a faulty switch?

the driver window thing is normal...

there are two settings for the driver window.... full and driver preferred height.

this is to allow the driver to keep their hands free - without having to wait for the window

to slide all the way down.
