i found a handbag behind my back fence and had a purse and stuff so went to drop it back to them. it was an old couple and they caught the aboriginal guy in their bedroom at 5.30am stealing it. same guy who knocked on their door a week earlier wanting lemons off their tree... he lived down the end of their street. the police wouldnt even take a statement from them.

they lived round the corner from me. that was the house where my calais was broken into three times and the commodore over the road was left on bricks. his gf saw them (aboriginals, funny that) rolling the wheels down the path. of course there was no sign of them when the cops arrived 20 mins later.

edit: this was in como

"So i say, listen buddy, your car was upsidedown when we got here and as for you grandma, she shouldnt have mouthed off like that"

Some real low lifes out there eh. Just remember they are either gonna get caught at some stage, blasted by some gun toting nutjob in his won home or OD in some alley someplace. But if you really want vengence remember that your prolly smarter than them, dont fly off the handle, take your time. But first ask yourself is it worth it for your own peace of mind because once you take the law into your own hands you cant go half way.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
